Our courses are designed to be relevant to you and your students. They are intended to enhance and support the diverse teaching styles of our participants. Our course requirements reflect this mentality:

Attendance at all sessions of the course.

  • This ensures academic integrity and gives us the benefit of your expertise.

Independent Study Project
  • All 3 credit graduate courses require an independent study project consisting of 10 to 12 hours of work beyond classroom time. This project comes in all shapes and sizes. It is your opportunity to put your new knowledge in a constructive plan of action. Projects range from lesson plans, artistic interpretations and personal reflections to service projects and beyond. We ask that this project is concrete, relevant and useful.

  • Projects are due 10 days after the last day of the course.

Active Participation
  • Our courses are interactive and engaging. Our Challenge by Choice mentality encourages participants to participate to the best of their ability. We strive to grow and learn from each other.
